The Owen Sound Attack joined the Tyson Downs Association (TDBeAT), the City of Owen Sound, and community partners to celebrate the official unveiling of a new outdoor AED SaveStation at Harrison Park Inn.
The publicly accessible AED provides 24/7 access to life-saving equipment and is part of TDBeAT’s ongoing mission to improve cardiac emergency preparedness through education, awareness, and increased access to defibrillators.
“We were privileged to take part this year in the TDBeAT CPR and AED training session with our team and staff, and to help raise the funds to install outdoor AED SaveStations in Owen Sound.”
— Evan Longland, Community Relations Coordinator, Owen Sound Attack
The Owen Sound Attack partnered with TDBeAT throughout the season to support CPR and AED awareness initiatives, helping raise funds for outdoor SaveStations that improve access to life-saving equipment across the community.
TDBeAT was established to help prevent sudden cardiac death by raising awareness, promoting CPR and AED education, advocating for more publicly accessible defibrillators, and helping map AED locations throughout the region.
“We look forward to working with TDBeAT in the future and continuing our mission to support local charitable efforts that benefit Owen Sound and our local area.”
— Evan Longland, Community Relations Coordinator, Owen Sound Attack
The Harrison Park installation represents another important step in expanding public access to AEDs while strengthening partnerships between local organizations committed to creating a safer, more heart-ready community.
