New Safety Tool Available at Marvin Gaye Park, Partly Thanks to the Commanders

Residents of Northeast Washington, D.C. now have access to a new outdoor AED SaveStation at Marvin Gaye Park, providing 24/7 access to life-saving equipment during cardiac emergencies.

The installation was highlighted by NBC4 Washington and was made possible in part through support from the Washington Commanders. Community leaders say the new AED adds an important layer of safety for visitors who use the park’s recreational facilities and walking trails.

The publicly accessible SaveStation is designed to help bystanders respond quickly during sudden cardiac arrest emergencies before first responders arrive.
