ABIA Award Recognizes TDWBIA’s Commitment to Public Safety and SaveStations
The Toronto Downtown West BIA was honoured with the 2024 Well-Being & Safety TABIA Award for its commitment to community safety.
This recognition highlights key initiatives, including the installation of Toronto’s first outdoor SaveStation AED near the CN Tower, ensuring a safer and thriving neighbourhood.
The increase in, development projects, infrastructure work, and road closures, combined with a rising population in the area presents challenges for Emergency Medical Services. We have developed strategies with a number of community stakeholders that aim to foster a safe environment.
