CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Monday’s hometown heroes are saving lives at Carlisle High School.

The Peyton Walker Foundation donated a SaveStation, an AED kept in a cabinet. An AED can save the life of someone in sudden cardiac arrest.

There is one outside the school, so there’s easy access for athletes.

“…the AED also, it speaks for itself pretty much, it tells you the directions, where to apply the patches, how long to wait, when to administer the shock,” student Sarah Forrester said.

Another SaveStation, donated by the Peyton Walker Foundation, was used to save a life last year.
