The City of Janesville Fire Department has announced the installation of three new outdoor SaveStation AED cabinets in downtown Janesville, expanding public access to life-saving automated external defibrillators in high-traffic community spaces.
The climate-controlled SaveStations are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and feature photo and alarm monitoring to help ensure the AEDs remain secure and rescue-ready in the event of a cardiac emergency.
The outdoor AED cabinets are climate-controlled, photo-and-alarm-monitored, available 24/7, and equipped with AEDs in case of emergency.
The three SaveStations are located next to the Marvin Roth Pavilion Stage, beside the Town Square Pavilion in Janesville Town Square, and along the sidewalk in front of 18 N. Main Street near Looking Glass. Each location is clearly marked to help bystanders quickly locate an AED when every second counts.
The downtown installations were made possible through donations from the Business Improvement District of Downtown Janesville, supporting the community’s efforts to improve emergency preparedness and public safety.
